Emerald Core is located in Bintaro, South Tangerang, a well-established independent city known for its well-organized modern residential areas, vibrant culinary scene, and trendy coffee shops. Emerald Core is envisioned as a commercial hub that serves as a melting pot for the local community bringing together residents looking to hang out, socialize, and enjoy the area, as well as those embracing an active and healthy lifestyle through activities such as running, cycling and other workouts on weekends.

Emerald Core occupies a 7,532 sqm site, comprising 23 commercial building masses. The development consists of two building types, differentiated by their number of floors. What distinguishes these commercial buildings from conventional shophouses is the way circulation is organized. Instead of placing circulation within the building, it is moved to the exterior, along the side of each building. This allows each floor to be independently leased to different tenants within the same building, while maintaining privacy and minimizing disruption between them.

As a commercial hub envisioned as a melting pot for the local community to socialize and interact, Emerald Core offers a layered circulation system that connects the development both vertically and horizontally. The vertical circulation consists of two levels, connected by ramps and spiral staircases. The lower level pathway is sheltered by the upper pathway, which functions as a continuous canopy. Meanwhile, the upper pathway connects the buildings horizontally, creating a seamless pedestrian network while introducing a different spatial dimension when viewed from above.

A viewing deck is also provided as a spot for taking photos and enjoying a broader perspective of the surrounding context, including the lush and established residential neighborhoods of Bintaro and an amphitheater serves as a communal gathering space where residents can relax in the morning or afternoon, enjoy the atmosphere, and socialize with one another.
